About the Journal

Jurnal Ipteks Terapan (Research of Applied Science and Education) (1979-9292 ) & (2460 5611), better known as JIT, is a double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access international journal published by the Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi Wilayah X. JIT focuses on applied science themes that connect various sub-disciplines within education, social sciences, and humanities with issues related to the application of digital technology. JIT wants to make the connection between theory and practice stronger in the field of applied science by using an interdisciplinary approach. Its primary focus includes research that highlights the integration of digital technology in educational and social-humanities contexts, as well as the innovative application of science to address societal needs and challenges in education.

Focus and Scope
Jurnal Ipteks Terapan (Research of Applied Science and Education) accepts research manuscripts oriented towards the application of science and technology in various social, educational, and humanities contexts. The journal's scope includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Education and Learning Technology
    The journal covers applied research in pedagogy, digital-based learning innovation, learning media development, e-learning, and the application of information technology in both formal and non-formal education processes.
  • Applied Social Sciences
    Covers studies on the application of social concepts in the context of community development, communication, the creative economy, community empowerment, and the socio-cultural impacts of digital transformation.
  • Humanities and Digital Culture
    Highlights the dynamics of values, language, literature, and culture in the digital era, including interdisciplinary studies that connect the humanities with technology, new media, and contemporary social practices.
  • Application of Digital Technology in Various Fields
    Includes the application of artificial intelligence (AI), big data, the Internet of Things (IoT), information systems, and other technological innovations that have practical implications for education, society, and humanity.
  • Applied Science and Technological Innovation
    Focuses on the development and application of scientific research findings to solve real-world problems in the environment, health, engineering, and other applied fields with social and educational relevance.
