About the Journal

Jurnal Kata: Penelitian tentang Ilmu Bahasa dan Sastra, ISSN 2502-0706 (Online), also known as JURNAL KATA, is a double-blind, peer-reviewed international journal published twice a year, in May and October. The goal of this journal is to promote scholarly exchange between researchers and educators in the fields of language and literature. Articles may be submitted in either Indonesian or English. Jurnal Kata welcomes research addressing various languages, including national, regional, and foreign languages. The journal's scope includes theoretical and applied linguistics, literary analysis, cultural studies related to language, and innovations in language teaching and learning.
Furthermore, Jurnal Kata pays special attention to research relevant to the developing context of language, including issues of language, literature, and language education in multicultural and multilingual societies. This journal is published by Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi (LLDIKTI) Wilayah X in Padang, Sumatera Barat, Indonesia, in collaboration with universities that have the fields of language and literature. Each text sent will go through a review process by a sustainable partner. Article publishing is based on the assessment of sustainable partners and implementing editors.
